I have broad interests in processes of speciation and diversification, particularly in systems of high species diversity. My research uses population genetic, phylogenetic, and comparative methods to study diversification, from speciation processes to macroevolutionary patterns of diversity. Most of my work focuses on African cichlid fishes.
